Kyocera Printers & Copiers
Kyocera uses highly sophisticated materials to produce extremely reliable products for major global industries as well as SME business consumers, not-for-profit, and public sectors. In April 1959 with just 28 staff members, Kyoto Ceramic Co., Ltd. (now Kyocera Corp.) was founded in Kyoto, Japan as a company specializing in fine ceramics. It is no surprise, therefore, that Kyocera went on to use their expertise in ceramics and advanced production techniques to develop an image drum for printers and MFPs with vastly improved durability.
Kyocera’s PSLP (Positive-charged Single Layer Photoconductor) drum technology delivers over 10 times the lifespan of a standard drum and requires one-third of the manufacturing energy to produce Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) multilayer technology to produce drums with a serviceable life of more than 600,000 pages, turning their drums from consumables into long life components, and increasing the sustainability of the devices. Kyocera take the same innovative approach in every area of their business.
Meeting and exceeding customer needs
Demonstrating Kyocvera's commitment to quality management, the ISO 9001 standard shows that their products and services consistently meet customer requirements, and that quality is constantly improved.
Protecting the environment
ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems. This highlights Kyocera's commitment to considering environmental consequences of all processes and business practices internationally.
Highest standards in data security
As businesses work to tackle cyber and data security, Kyocera leads the way by achieving ISO 27001 accreditation, the international framework for data and information security. All EMEA subsidiaries follow Plan-Do-Check-Act (the PDCA cycle) for continual improvement on InfoSec. Protecting your data is a primary concern in Kyocera MFP design.
