XBM Acquires iDoc Services
Yorkshire based XBM acquires iDoc Services to expand UK Managed Print base.
XBM Limited, one of the UK’s fastest growing sustainable office technology suppliers, announces the acquisition of of iDoc Services Limited, a London based, UK wide reseller of Epson and HP printers, copiers, and digital document solutions.
Following it’s rebranding in 2021, XBM announced its plans to expand rapidly through acquisitions and new business at their Q3 Launch in July 2022, and this is the first publicly announced take over on their path to being the UK’s largest Managed Print provider.
It is seen as an especially good match as XBM is already Epson’s second largest reseller in the UK and one of only three Epson Platinum Partners in the UK, an award based on the company’s expertise and high levels of customer support.
Mark Moore, the outgoing Managing Director of iDoc Services Ltd. commented that, “We’ve had a great time building a loyal customer base across the UK, but when we started looking for someone to take over the business, XBM was an obvious choice given their level of integration with Epson. We’ve worked with Richard Taylor’s team to ensure our customers will continue to receive the very best care and support and I’m happy that they will.”
iDoc Services Ltd.’s existing customers will continue to be supported by either the manufacturers’ service teams or XBM’s national fleet of engineers and remote support technicians working from the company’s Head Office in Leeds and at regional sales and support centres in Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, and London.
According to XBM Managing Director, Richard Taylor, the company is now set to aggressively pursue growth across the UK, with other as yet un-named businesses already being considered as the next step in a well defined growth plan.
